By removing the rabbit and the capybara from the food web above, you are essentially taking away the food(energy) for both the jaguar and crocodile(can't tell if it's an alligator). This will ultimately cause both the predators to starve and die off because they will not have any food to supply themselves with energy to keep them alive. Hope this helps!

The cause of the change in insect characteristics occurred when a few survivors of the 1st spray became resistant to the insecticide. When they had offspring, those insect babies are born with the trait that made them resistant to insecticide. This occurs when the parents pass on the trait to their offspring. The end result is that the insecticide is less effective and more insects survive.

Scientists believe the moon was formed
Novosadov [1.4K]

Answer:

a)From the collision of protoplanet and proto-earth

The isotopic homogeneity of this highly refractory element suggests that lunar material was derived from the proto-Earth mantle, an origin that could be explained by efficient impact ejection, by an exchange of material between the Earth’s magma ocean and the proto-lunar disk, or by fission from a rapidly rotating post-impact Earth.

However, it remains uncertain whether more refractory elements, such as titanium, show the same degree of isotope homogeneity as oxygen in the Earth–Moon system.

Scientists still believe the general idea of having an impact forming disk that coalesced into the Moon is probably right, but this paper shows that scientists still don’t fully understand exactly what the mechanisms were. There is a lot of exciting research still to be done in this field!
