After a signal binds to a signal receptor, the next step is transduction. Why is the signal transduction step necessary?.
mr_godi [17]

Cells respond to environmental effects through signal transduction, which promotes healthy cell growth and normal cell function.

Why is the signal transduction step necessary?

The reason why after a signal binds to a signal receptor, we need the next step is as follows:

 • For the purpose of triggering an appropriate cellular response, living creatures have evolved a vast range of intricate procedures to send signals from the outside to the inside.
 • These molecular pathways can develop flaws that result in a variety of ailments, including diabetes, cancer, and psychotic conditions.
 • It is the mechanism by which a cell responds to the stimuli it receives from the environment by diffusion of those signals to its internal compartments.
 • Signal transduction is the process by which a cell translates a given signal or external stimulus into another signal or specific response.
 • First, a particular receptor on the cell's membrane or cytoplasm must be activated by a signaling molecule (also known as a ligand). transduction.
 • Ligand-receptor binding is extremely specific; it can be compared to a lock and key.
 • Second messengers are chemicals that enable intracellular signal amplification after a signal has been received.
 • A ligand's interaction to a receptor may result in the production of hundreds of second messenger molecules, which may then change thousands of effector molecules to cause a variety of reactions.
 • Signal transduction enables cells to perceive, interpret, and react to various environmental signals, enabling them to carry out their usual functions.

Some research supports the claim that individuals with antisocial personality disorder may not exhibit the same increase in stre
Arisa [49]

Answer:

The statement is true.

Explanation:

The results of the investigations carried out in relation to the link between cortisol secretion and personality reveal differences in the reported evidence. Some of this research indicates that personality traits or disorders play a relevant role in individual differences in the endocrine response to cortisol, both in its basal levels and in the face of stressful stimuli. The relationship between antisocial personality and cortisol levels has been described in several investigations. Among the most reported neuroendocrinological abnormalities in antisocial men is a decrease in cortisol secretion levels. In this regard, Moss, Vanyukov and Martin conducted a case control study comparing cortisol secretion in stressful situations in children between 10 and 12 years of age at risk of presenting aggressive and abusive behavior in adolescence based on their family history. The groups were formed in relation to the presence or absence of a family history of aggression and substance abuse, specifically in the parents. The results found showed that children had a higher risk of antisocial behavior, if their parents had a history of substance abuse and violent behavior, they had lower levels of cortisol secretion in stressful situations than children in the control group whose parents did not present these behaviors negative. The researchers argue that these results could be indicating that a lower increase in cortisol levels in the face of stressful situations could be a biological marker of future antisocial adolescents. Likewise, a longitudinal study with 38 school-age children who had symptoms of aggressive behavior (clinically reported), who were assessed for the circadian rhythm of cortisol in saliva during the second and fourth years of schooling; reported the relationship between the decrease in HPA axis activity and the presence of severe and persistent aggressive behaviors.

Write the formula of these RBCs indices with their unit measurement:
MCV
MCH
MCHC
Bad White [126]

MCV = Hct × 10/RBC (84-96 fL) •Mean corpuscular Hb (MCH) = Hb × 10/RBC (26-36 pg) •Mean corpuscular Hb concentration (MCHC) = Hb × 10/Hct (32-36%) A rapid method of determining whether cellular indices are normocytic and normochromic is to multiply the RBC and Hb by 3.
