Why do we need the Domain Name System (DNS)? Given the domain name www.flamingflamingos.eu, what is the top level domain in this

name? How many different nameservers need to be visited in order to find the location of www.flamingflamingos.eu, including the ROOT server? How long does this whole process take? Once the location is acquired (IP address 88.151.243.8) what does your computer do with that information?

Explanation:

We need the DNS(Domain Name System) because it connects to the webpage by using an Internet Protocol address and also used to convert the domain name into IP address on the internet.

Top-level domain is .eu

The top-level domain is also known as TLD, and it is the last part of the domain name.

There are 4 different nameservers.

It depends on the internet connection.

When we search for the valid IP address then it will connect us to that webpage whose IP address we search.

JAVA
butalik [34]

Answer:

import java.util.*;

public class MyClass {

   public static void main(String args[]) {

       Scanner input = new Scanner(System.in);

       System.out.print("Input a word: ");

       String userinput = input.nextLine();

       for(int i =0;i<userinput.length();i+=2) {

           System.out.print(userinput.charAt(i));

       }

   }

}

Explanation:

This line prompts user for input

       System.out.print("Input a word: ");

This declares a string variable named userinput and also gets input from the user

       String userinput = input.nextLine();

The following iterates through every other character of userinput from the first using iteration variable i and i is incremented by 2

       for(int i =0;i<userinput.length();i+=2) {

This prints characters at i-th position

           System.out.print(userinput.charAt(i));

Either a function’s _________ or its _________ must precede all calls to the function.
faltersainse [42]

Answer:

Definition, Prototype

A function prototype is the one who declares return type,function name and parameters in it.

<u>Syntax of function prototype </u>

      returnType functionName(type1 argu1, type2 argu2,...);

Function definition contains the block of code to perform a specific task.

<u>Syntax of function definition</u>
