By all counts the odds were stacked against the United States winning their independence, so why did the American Revolution suc
Llana [10]

Answer:

There are several factors that made the triumph of American Revolution possible.

In the first place, after initial defeats and mistakes, the patriots of the Continental Army and the militias fought bravely and with determination to have a free homeland. Secondly, the support of France was fundamental to beat the British: supplies, weapons, ammunitions, the engagement of the French navy and troops. Thirdly, the British had the disadvantage of having long lines of supply, it was hard and costly to send more troops and supplies from Britain, and particularly after the French and Spanish blockade. And we can safely quote as a fourth reason the great human, moral and intellectual quality of the Founding Fathers who were able to overcome their personal differences in order to reach a common vision with shared values of the future free nation.

At the battle of new orleans, how many men did jackson lose
nalin [4]
On January 8, 1815, the British marched against New Orleans, hoping that by capturing the city they could separate Louisiana from the rest of the United States. Pirate Jean Lafitte, however, had warned the Americans of the attack, and the arriving British found militiamen under General Andrew Jackson strongly entrenched at the Rodriquez Canal. In two separate assaults, the 7,500 British soldiers under Sir Edward Pakenham were unable to penetrate the U.S. defenses, and Jackson’s 4,500 troops, many of them expert marksmen from Kentucky and Tennessee, decimated the British lines. In half an hour, the British had retreated, General Pakenham was dead, and nearly 2,000 of his men were killed, wounded, or missing. U.S. forces suffered only EIGHT KILLED and 13 wounded.

How large was the Mongols empire under kublai khan?
Neko [114]

Under Kublai Khan the Mongol empire reached its largest extension. He ruled over 24000000 km² (nearly 10000000 mi²). The empire went from China and Korea to Iran and southern Russia, from the Korean peninsula to the Danube River.

During Kublai's reign the empire was divided into four smaller Kanatos but he still remained as the Great Khan of all of them. He was actually the first Khan to successfully conquest China in 1279, making him the first Yuan ruler of the whole China. After his death, the mongols didn't elect a new Khan and the Kanatos became more independent.
