Im not sure if its +9y or -9y but ill use +

-11x + 9y = -12 add 11x to both sides

9y = -12 + 11x. divide all numbers by 9

y = -12/9 + 11/9x. simplify -12 and 9 by 3

y = -4/3 + 11/9x. make sure its in slope intercept form (y=mx+b)

y = 11/9x - 4/3

slope: 11/9

y int: -4/3

aalyn [17]

The car was towed for 48 miles.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Amount charges by Acme towing = $30

Per mile charges = $3

Total charged = $174

Let, x be the number of miles.

Towing charges + Per mile charges*number of miles = Total charged

30+3x=174

Subtracting 30 from both sides

30-30+3x=174-30\\3x=144

Dividing both sides by 3

\frac{3x}{3}=\frac{144}{3}\\x=48

The car was towed for 48 miles.

Tresset [83]

Answer:

\sqrt[4]{x^5}

Step-by-step explanation:

A fraction exponent converts into a radical. The denominator is the index of the radical (farthest left number) and the numerator is the exponent of the base inside (the farthest right number). The base of the fraction exponent is the base number in green. To write this expression, simply the exponents into one exponent and one base.

x^{\frac{3}{4}}x^{\frac{1}{2} } =x^{\frac{3}{4}}x^{\frac{2}{4} } =x^{\frac{3+2}{4}} =x^{\frac{5}{4}}

Now convert to the radical.

x^{\frac{5}{4}} = \sqrt[4]{x^5}

The graph of f(x)=3×2 -3 is shown below. g(x) is a transformation of f(x). How would you write the equation for the function g(x
umka2103 [35]

A function assigns the values. The function of the graph g(x) is 3(2ˣ).

<h3>What is a Function?</h3>

A function assigns the value of each element of one set to the other specific element of another set.

Given the function of the graph is f(x)=3(2ˣ)-3, which is needed to be transformed to g(x), since g(x) is the function of f(x) transformed 3 units upwards therefore, the function of g(x) can be written as,

g(x) = f(x) + 3

g(x) = 3(2ˣ)-3+3

g(x) = 3(2ˣ)

Hence, the function of the graph g(x) is 3(2ˣ).
