However, this can only be done when the center of dilation is the origin (0,0). For non-origin center of dilation like in our case we have to locate the points of the image by construction in a Cartesian plane using the center and the scale factor. In this case we need to measure the distance of A from a point F (center of dilation) the we multiply it by 0.25 (the scale factor) then using the same path we measure the distance we get to locate point A'. Hence, by so doing point A' will be (1,0).
