Grant was best known as the Union general who won the war for the Union against the confederate states during the American civil war. Grant also served as a two time president of the United states of America but was generally described as very ineffective and weak during his time as president.
Grant was a very Brave General and knew how to win Wars and not just winning battles. what helped him was his very effective strategies he implemented which meant he had to take up tactical caution unlike his rival Lee who was more aggressive and threw caution to the winds during the American civil war
