An example of a right the Ninth Amendment protects is the right to personal privacy.

The Ninth Amendment (1791) guarantees that those rights that aren't enumerated in the Constitution are retained solely to the people. The law was an attempt to prevent the government's power from expanding.

The right to personal privacy is a good example of it, since it's not specifically mentioned in the Constitution, however the Judiciary system has interpreted that the Bill of Rights (1789) has created this right by protecting people's freedom in certain aspects such as the privacy of beliefs (1st Amendment), privacy of the home against demands that it be used to house soldiers (3rd Amendment), privacy of the person and their possessions against government agents' searches without probable cause that they had committed a crime(4th Amendment), and others.

It protects the right to personal Privacy.

Further Explanation:

Ninth Amendment is a bill of rights in the US constitution and this amendment formally states people to retain rights absent specific enumeration. Before, During and after the ratification of the Constitution of the United States took place, The debate started about the protection of the individual rights of the people as initially the constitution of the United States had no Bill of Rights and it was added when the Anti-Federalists urged its addition as they feared that without right to personal privacy, there will be too much power vested in the Federal government.

But on the other hand, Federalists believed that the constitution of the United States had created a central government with limited powers which countered and claim that an enumeration of the protected rights and that would be possible detriment with regards to the individual liberties which were presumably unworthy of a constitutional protection. So, because of that, the Ninth Amendment was born and the purpose of this was assert the principle which enumerated that rights are not exhaustive and does not deny the existence of other rights,

Washington's farewell address argued for as little connection to europe as possible. advocated an interventionist foreign policy
Naddika [18.5K]
Washington's farewell address called for "no entangling alliances". In other words, stay out of foreign affairs. Washington saw his own cabinet torn apart by differing views of certain European nations. He also warned against political parties. Again his own cabinet was ripped apart due to strong political feelings and refusal to compromise. He saw political parties as the first step in dividing a nation that had just begun.
