If 1/4x - 1/4 = 2 then 2 + 1/4 = 1/4x.
so 3/4 = 1/4x
3/4 is equal to 1/1.33 (reduce by dividing both numerator and denominator by 3)
so 4 x ? = 1.33. 1.33 / 4 = 0.3325
so (if you're solving for x) I believe the answer is x = 0.3325

What the slope and y intercept ? and how did you find it ?
EastWind [94]

Answer:

Slope: m=4

y-intercept: b=-1

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation of the line in Slope-Intercept form is:

y=mx+b

Where "m" is the slope and "b" is the y-intercept.

The slope can be found with the following formula:

m=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}

In this case you can say that:

y_2=-5\\y_1=11\\\\x_2=-1\\x_1=3

Knowing this values you can substitute them into the formula and then evaluate, in order to find the slope. This is:

m=\frac{-5-11}{-1-3}\\\\m=\frac{-16}{-4}\\\\m=4

By definition, the line intersects the y-axis when the value of "x" is 0.

Notice in the table that when x=0, y=-1

Therefore, the y-intercept is:

b=-1
