C) Mr. Baumer would still try to get back at Slade.

Explanation:

In the short story "Bargain" written by A.B. Guthrie, Jr, the plot revolves especially around the enmity o a shopkeeper Mr. Baumer and a drunk penny cheater Slade. The story tells of how Slade gets his due after all the trouble he had caused Mr. Baumer.

Slade had been acquiring unpaid bills for the goods he took from Mr. Baumer's shop. And he had no intention of paying for them. Every time he was approached with the bill, he'd torture and beat the tiny shopkeeper. One instant shows him beaten so badly that he had to give up the use of his arm for a long time, even hiring a new helper for the shop.

The fight scene where Al, the helper of the store, talks about is where Mr. Baumer had been badly beaten up. This statement of Al that Baumer <em>"didn’t look beaten even"</em> reveals that he will still try to get back at him.

What does moralistic political culture expect and encourage? Group of answer choices Political participation by all citizens Pri
Crank

The correct answer is "Political participation by all citizens."

What the moralistic political culture expects and encourages is "Political participation by all citizens.

Let's have in mind that political culture is the series of values and belief systems that structures any political action.

The moralistic political structure puts emphasis on the necessities of the citizens. Of course, this approach is in opposition to the individualistic political culture and the traditionalistic political culture.

The moralistic political structure believes that the federal government is responsible for the welfare of the people so it has to create the kinds of social programs that benefit the citizens. So we can say it has to focus on the welfare of the majority, over the individualistic approach.
