Sample Response: The passage uses a metaphor by comparing Tessa's legs to trees shaking in the wind. Literally, the metaphor means that Tessa's legs are shaking because she is nervous. The metaphor helps me visualize how Tessa feels and better understand her fear of not doing well in the race.

What is the main theme of poem?

The poet is very happy and satisfied in the poem, he is amazed by everything he is observing and thinking and that rejoices him. To show his state of mind at that moment, the poet decided to use the words "glee" and "company" in a rhyme, generating harmony in the text and showing his satisfaction.

We can also see the use of alliteration, where the poet uses words with the same semantic relationship, also aiming at emphasizing a concept or idea.
