Picture Question please help!!!! Thank you so much!
ra1l [238]
The answer is 33. This is because there are 3 colours and the probability that the spinner will land on each colour is 1/3 (one third). To work out the number of times it will land on blue you have to do the probability of it landing on blue (1/3) multiplied by the number of times spun (100) which gives approximately 33.

What is the total weight,in pounds , of 100 sharks that each weighs 5.015x10^3 in pounds ?
Grace [21]

Answer:

5.015\cdot 10^4 pounds

Step-by-step explanation:

The weight of an object is the magnitude of the force of gravity acting on the object. It is equal to the product between mass of the object (m) and acceleration of gravity (g):

W=mg

In this problem, we have 100 sharks; the weight of each shark is

W=5.015\cdot 10^3 pounds

When we have n objects, the total weight of the n object is n times the weight of each object:

W_T = nW

Therefore, since in this case

n = 100

The total weight of the 100 sharks is:

W_T=(10)(5.015\cdot 10^3)=5.015\cdot 10^4 pounds
