Answer:

5040

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1:

Distinct 9-letter words formed from the word "COMMITTEE" is equal to the number of different permutations for word "COMMITTEE".

Step 2:

Now, if in the 9-letter word the  first letter is fixed as "i". Then  number of distinct words formed will be equal to number of different permutation for the word "COMMTTEE".

Step 3:

Now, the as it is known that number of permutation of <em>n</em> distinct object where <em>p, q</em> and <em>r </em>distinct object are of the same kind is equal to \frac{n!}{p!q!r!}.

Therefore,

Number permutation for the word "COMMTTEE" will be equal to  \frac{8!}{2!2!2!}.

Now,

\frac{8!}{2!2!2!}= \frac{8\times7\times6\times5\times4\times3\times2\times1}{2\times2\times2} =8\times7\times6\times5\times3 = 5040

In order to subtract fractions, you need the denominators (bottom number) to be the same. \frac{1}{2} * \frac{4}{4} =  \frac{4}{8} . \frac{5}{8} - \frac{4}{8} =  \frac{1}{8}

Answer:

The length of the three sides 5, \sqrt{58} , \sqrt{65}

The triangle <u>is not</u> a right triangle

Step-by-step explanation:

A = (3, 2) , B = ( 6, 9) , C = (10, 6)

Find the lengths using distance formula.

distance = \sqrt{(x_2 -x_1)^2 + (y_2 - y_1)^2}

AB = \sqrt{(6-3)^2 + (9-2)^2}  = \sqrt{9 + 49 } = \sqrt{58}

BC = \sqrt{(10-6)^2 + (6-9)^2}  = \sqrt{16 + 9}  = \sqrt{25}  = 5

AC = \sqrt{(3-10)^2+(2-6)^2}  = \sqrt{49 + 16} = \sqrt{65}

Using Pythagoras theorem :

(Longer \ side)^2 = sum \ of \ square \ of \ two \ other \ sides

Longest side is AC . So we will check if it satisfies Pythagoras theorem :

\sqrt{65} = \sqrt{58} + 5^2\\65 = 58 + 25\\

65 ≠ 58 + 25

So the sides does not satisfy Pythagoras theorem. Hence the triangle is not a right triangle.

A=755y/t^2 <br> Solve for y.
timofeeve [1]

Answer:

y = At²/755

Step-by-step explanation:

A = 755y/t²

multiply both sides by t²

At² = 755y

Divide both sides by 755

At²/755 = y

Flip

y = At²/755
