Answer: The correct answer is -

Radial symmetry is a body plan of organisms where the body is divided into two equal parts by any plane that passes through the central axis (such as in Echinoderms and Coelentrates) of the body.

It is very useful for the sessile organisms (that are fixed or attached at one particular place through base) because there is an even distribution of sensory receptors in their body, which helps in detecting their threats (like predators) from all directions equally. Also, they can grab food from all direction equally by being attached to one place.

It is an advantage because they approach their environments from all sides equally.

In a plant, red flower color is incompletely dominant over yellow. What will the distribution of flowers in the F2 hybrids be if
Simora [160]
A Punnett square would help here.

Let's say (R) is dominant red and (r) is recessive red, aka yellow.

You start with F1 hybrid flowers that are all (Rr) - these are all orange. So when they reproduce, both parents are (Rr). When you create a Punnett square, you'll see that the results for the F2 generation are (RR), (rr), and (Rr) twice.

(RR) is red, (rr) is yellow, and (Rr) is orange, just like the F1 generation.

Len [333]

Answer:

The correct answer is plants have two parts life cycle spending one part of their life in diploid phase and the other part in the haploid phase, human spending their lives in diploid phase and produces gamets that are haploid.

Explanation:

There are two stages in the life cycle of plant one is gametophyte stage which is haploid and the other is sporophyte stage that is diploid.

but in case of humans the overall life cycle proceed in diploid phase and produces gamets that are haploid.

In case of human male produces haploid gamet known as sperm and the female produces haploid gamet know as ovum. The sperm and ovum fuses to form diploid zygote,

Tear glands have vesicles that release their secretion by exocytosis. These are classified as ___________ glands. However, _____
Vilka [71]

Answer:

1. Merocrine

2. Holocrine

Explanation:

Merocrine glands are the exocrine glands that synthesize their secretions on ribosomes attached to rough ER. These secretions are packaged by the Golgi complex into the secretory vesicles and are released from the cell via exocytosis. Tear glands, salivary glands are some examples of merocrine glands.

The cells of holocrine glands do not have vesicles but accumulate a secretory product in their cytosol. The mature secretory cells rupture to release the secretory product. This results in the presence of large amounts of lipids from the plasma membrane and intracellular membranes in secretions of these glands. One example of a holocrine gland is an oil-producing gland of the skin.
