It is 12:04 when she arrives at the library. Add 50 mins to equal 12:54. Then add 4 to equal 12:56. She leaves at 12:56.

Rani arrives at 12:04 so lets make it easier and make it 12:00. She spends 52 mins so add 52 to 12:00 which is 12:52. Now add the 4 mins from before and you get 12:56
Hope this helped!

We'll assume the quadratic equation has real coefficients

Answer:

The other solution is x=1-8i.

Step-by-step explanation:

The Complex Conjugate Root Theorem

if P(x) is a polynomial in x with real coefficients, and a + bi is a root of P(x) with a and b real numbers, then its complex conjugate a − bi is also a root of P(x).

The question does not specify if the quadratic equation has real coefficients, but we will assume that.

Given x=1+8i is one solution of the equation, the complex conjugate root theorem guarantees that the other solution must be x=1-8i.

what is the area of a circle with radius of 7cm using 3.14 for pi and round to he nearest tenth plz hurry
Sophie [7]

Answer:153.9 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

The area of a circle is found by pi × radius squared and pi is aprox 3.14 so 3.15×7² = 153.86 then round off to the nearest tenth you get 153.9

9514 1404 393

Answer:

 15 in, 36 in, 39 in

Step-by-step explanation:

The Pythagorean theorem tells us that for short side x, the relation is ...

 (2x +9)² = (2x +6)² +x²

 4x² +36x +81 = 4x² +24x +36 +x²

 x² -12x -45 = 0 . . . . . subtract the left-side expression

 (x -15)(x +3) = 0 . . . . factor

 x = 15 . . . . . . . . . . . the positive value of x that makes a factor zero

The side lengths of the triangle are 15 inches, 36 inches, and 39 inches.

Find the coordinates of the other endpoint of the segment, given its midpoint M and one
Molodets [167]

Answer:

P(2c - h, 2n - s )

Step-by-step explanation:

If there are two points (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) on the coordinate plane

then midpoint is given by (x1+x2)/2 , (y1+y2)/2

_________________________________________________

in the problem midpoint is m(c,n)

one point is Q(h,s)

let other point be P(x,y)

By using midpoint formula given above

for point P(x,y) and Q(h,s)

midpoint = (x+h)/2, (y+s)/2

also midpoint is m(c,n)

comparing m(c,n) with (x+h)/2, (y+s)/2

c = x+h/2

=> 2c = x+h

=> 2c - h = x

n = (y+s)/2

=> 2n = y+s

=> 2n - s = y

Thus, second endpoint is P(x,y) = P(2c - h, 2n - s )
