In this case, searching for information concerning known things, i.e things that Nakeisha remembers, is an internal search. So it's a search that relates to things that are stored  in memory and such searches begin by recalling known information based on experience from previous searches or shopping actions. In other words, choosing what to buy comes down to familiar things from our memory.
