With a minors curiosity and adventurous ideas to try to things the best way to encourage kids to not even try drugs is show them what it does to the human body and its organs. If you show a kid the lung of a smoker and then show them the lung of a non smoker and let them compare the difference it will show them the amount of damage smoking does.
