I believe that some challenges depend on your environment -- where you live, family, friends, peers. If a friend insists that you get into a sexual relationship, you may overthink the situation. The environment I live in also affects my mental and emotional health. Do I feel safe? Am I doing the right thing for my family (friends, community, or religion)? What will they think of me if they find out? These factors constantly affect me in my daily life, as well as others around me.
