Answer:

The answer would be Plan B

Step-by-step explanation:

35 and 18 are flat rates which mean you only pay for them once. 0.10 and 0.18 are how much she is being charged for one message.

My work:

Plan A

35+0.10(68) - we multiply 68 by 0.10 which is 6.8

35+6.8=41.8- 41.8 is how much she would pay for plan A

Plan B

18+0.10(68)- we multiply 68 by 0.10 which is 6.8

18+6.8=24.8- 24.8 is how much she would pay for plan A

when we compare them 24.8 is less than 41.8

Hope this helps!

Answer:

Plan B

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's take plan a for example.

Plan A= 35.00 a month and 10 cents for message fee. They're 30 days in a month(most months)

35x30= 1,050 That's how much she would be paying monthly with plan A. It says she send 68 text messages so 68x10=680 which is 6 dollars and 8 cents a month . (and that's her fee per message)

Now, Plan B =18.00 monthly fee. 30x18=540 and her fee would be 68x30=2040 =20.4 which is 20 dollars and 4 cents a month for messages

now we add these, plan A 1,050+6.80=785

plan B= 560.4

Thus, plan B would be a better option

Answer:

y=7600(5^(t/22))

Step-by-step explanation:

This is going to be an exponential function as it grows rapidly.

This type of question can be solved using the formula y=a(r^x), where a is the inital amount, r the factor by which the amount increases and x is the unit of time after which the amount increases.

x=t/22

a=7600

r=5

∴y=7600(5^(t/22))

In the expression (44 ÷ 4 + 10) - 20 , with which operation should we start?
Luden [163]
You have to do whats in the parentheses from left to right then subtract the answer you get by 20

(9x10) - (30+30)
90 - 60 = 30

8 x (12+5) -7^2
17
17-49
18 x -32

= -576.

A detective has interviewed four witnesses to a crime. From the stories of the witnesses the detective has concluded
SVETLANKA909090 [29]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1:we should turn the “facts” into logical expressions.

Step 2:Assign variables

Our variables are: b (for butler), c (for cook), g (for gardener), h (for handyman)

Step 3 . Let the value of true indicate that the person is telling the truth. For example, b = T means the butler is telling the truth. Then we can translate the statements as follows:

Check attachment

Step 4

We know all of these must hold. So we really want to know when (b→c)∧¬(c∧g)∧¬(¬g∧¬h)∧(h → ¬c) is true.

Step 5

Behold, another truth table task! If you work out the truth table, you see that this statement is only true when:

Check attachment

Step 6

Therefore we can say the butler and cook are definitely lying, but we can not determine if the gardener or handyman are lying. However, there are four variables in this problem. Instead, we can do this with some straight reasoning. Notice that:

If the butler is telling the truth, then by (a) the cook is telling the truth.

If the cook is telling the truth, then by (b) the gardener is lying.

If the gardener is lying, then by (c) the handyman is telling the truth.

If the handyman is telling the truth, they by (d) the cook is lying.

This leads to a contradiction (the cook can not be both telling the truth and lying)! Therefore the butler and cook must be lying. What about the gardener and the handyman? We don’t have enough information to figure out if they are lying. Since the cook is lying, we can’t use (b) to come to any conclusions about the gardener. Even if we are able to conclude that the gardener is telling the truth, we can’t use (c) to come to any conclusions about the handyman.

Answer:

The three numbers are 341, 342, and 343

Step-by-step explanation:

We start by assigning X to the first integer. Since they are consecutive, it means that the 2nd number will be X + 1 and the 3rd number will be X + 2 and they should all add up to 1026. Therefore, you can write the equation as follows:

(X) + (X + 1) + (X + 2) = 1026

To solve for X, you first add the integers together and the X variables together. Then you subtract three from each side, followed by dividing by 3 on each side. Here is the work to show our math:

X + X + 1 + X + 2 = 1026

3X + 3 = 1026

3X + 3 - 3 = 1026 - 3

3X = 1023

3X/3 = 1023/3

X = 341

Which means that the first number is 341, the second number is 341 + 1 and the third number is 341 + 2. Therefore, three consecutive integers that add up to 1026 are 341, 342, and 343.

341 + 342 + 343 = 1026

We know our answer is correct because 341 + 342 + 343 equals 1026 as displayed above.
