Its the first one x is greater than 38 because by looking at the angle it looks bigger than 90 degrees so by that you cancel 39 and 77 and leaves you 38 or 103 103 could be an option but we don't know that for sure we know for sure it's more than 38 so the first choice is correct

And btw is it talking about the right side of the angle or left im confused like is the x the dot where n is if it is then the answer is 38

Answer: x > 38

In this case, x is a exterior angle of the triangle. The exterior angle of a triangle is the sum of the nonadjacent interior angles of the triangle.

Therefore:
x = 38 + 39
x = 77

77 > 38
x > 38

gogolik [260]

Answer:

24y^3/x^5

Step-by-step explanation:

Since 6x and 4x are not in a parentheses, they are not being powered by anything. Therefore, those stay on the numerator side.

Anything to the power of something times another to the power of something is always added together. Since -1 + (-4) is -5, x would end up having a power of -5, which would just make it go on the denominator side with just a power of 5.

Same rule with y follows. This would make it 5+ (-2) = 3. Since this is a positive power, it stays at the numerator side.

Please help with this algebra problem
Zolol [24]
Number of games they won: W
Number of games they lost: L

They played 60 games:
(1) W+L=60

They won 24 more than they lost:
(2) W=L+24

We have a system ofr 2 equations and 2 unkowns:
(1) W+L=60
(2) W=L+24

Using the method of substitution. Replacing W by L+24 in the first equation:
(1) W+L=60
(L+24)+L=60
L+24+L=60
2L+24=60

Solving for L
2L+24-24=60-24
2L=36

Dividing both sides of the equation by 2:
2L/2=36/2
L=18

Replacing L by 18 in the second equation:
(2) W=L+24
W=18+24
W=42

den301095 [7]

Answer:

\frac{2}{119}

Step-by-step explanation:

We have been given that Trevor has a bag of jelly beans. There are 10 red, 15 green, 5 orange, and 5 purple jelly beans in the bag.

The probability of choosing an orange jelly will be total number of orange jellies over all jellies.

\text{P(Orange)}=\frac{5}{10+15+5+5}

\text{P(Orange)}=\frac{5}{35}

Now, he again chooses an orange jelly and eats it. Since he already ate 1 orange jelly, so orange jelly left is 4 and total jellies would be 34.

\text{P(Orange)}=\frac{4}{34}

Using multiplication rule of probability, we will get:

P(A\cap B)=P(A)\cdot P(B|A)

P(\text{Orange}\cap\text{Orange})= \frac{5}{35}\times \frac{4}{34}

P(\text{Orange}\cap\text{Orange})=\frac{1}{7}\times \frac{2}{17}

P(\text{Orange}\cap\text{Orange})= \frac{2}{119}

Therefore, the probability that Trevor randomly chooses 1 orange jellybean, eats it, and then chooses another orange jellybean and eats it would be \frac{2}{119}.
