<u>Answer-</u>

<em>The total amount you would have earned over the first 16 years is </em><em>$90047.20</em>

<u>Solution-</u>

The exponential function that would given the growth is,

P'=P(1+r)^t

Where,

P' = Future value,

P = Current value = $50000

r = rate of change = 4% = 0.04

t = time = 15 year (not 16 because the the increment occurs at year end and we want to get the value at the beginning of 16th year)

Putting the values,

P'=50000(1+0.04)^{15}

=50000(1.04)^{15}

=90047.20

Therefore, the total amount you would have earned over the first 16 years is $90047.20

n = 16

50000(1 + 1.04 + 1.04^2 + 1.04^3 + .... + 1.04^15) = 50000 * (1.04^16 - 1) / (1.04 - 1) = 1,091,226.56

Final year's salary = 90047.17

86,583.82 * 1.04 = 90047.17

There are only 15 table when there should be 16.

a_N = 50000(1.04)^15 = 90047.17

And if we add 90047.17 to the previous total of 1001179.38 we get

$1,091,226.55

Mariana [72]
The blanks should be:
<span>2 halves
</span><span>7 halves
</span><span>7 friends

This is because 3 and 1/2 is the same as the improper fraction of 7/2. </span>

Margarita [4]

Step-by-step explanation:

a) gradient= y2-y1/x2-x1

gradient of AB:

gradient=-4-1/2-3

=-5/-1

=5

gradient of BC:

=-5+4/7-2

=-1/5

b) as the priduct of both gradient is -1 ,both lines are perpendicular.

c) as we have seen lines are perpendicular so it is a right angled triangle.

Ed wants to borrow $20,000 from a bank to open a small gym. Three banks charge different interest rates. To help decide the best
Delicious77 [7]

Answer:

First bank = $6792

City bank = $6803

Star bank = $6817

Step-by-step explanation:

The lists of banks and their annual interests rates are attached.

For first bank, since the interest is 7.5%, The total interest = 7.5% of $20000 = 0.075 × $20000 = $1500

For city bank, since the interest is 8.2%, The total interest = 8.2% of $20000 = 0.082 × $20000 = $1640

For Star bank, since the interest is 9%, The total interest = 9% of $20000 = 0.09 × $20000 = $1800

The loan plus interest for the banks annually are:

First bank = $20000 + $1500 = $21500

City bank = $20000 + $1640 = $21640

Star bank = $20000 + $1900 = $21900

The monthly payments for the banks are:

First bank = $21500 / 12 months = $1792

City bank = $21640 / 12 months = $1803

Star bank = $21800 / 12 months = $1817

Since The cost to run the gym each month is $5,000. Ed's total monthly expenses for each loan option = monthly payments + cost for each month. It is calculated as:

First bank = $5000 + $1792 = $6792

City bank = $5000 + $1803 = $6803

Star bank = $5000 + $1817 = $6817
