The answer for ur question is
by using pythogarus property

AB^2=BC^2+AC^2
OB^2=RB^2+OR^2
IT IS GIVEN THAT OB=10 AND RB= 8
10^2=8^2 +OR^2
100=64+OR^2
OR^2=100-64
OR^2=36
THE SQUARE ROOT OF 36 IS 6
SO, OR=6

HOPE THIS ANSWER HELP U ^_^

  2. Also, an approach that is easier to extend beyond two-dimensions is Euclidean geometry because it can be extended to three-dimension.

<h3>What are the Elements?</h3>

The Elements can be defined as a mathematical treatise which comprises 13 books that are attributed to the ancient Greek mathematician who lived in Alexandria, Ptolemaic Egypt c. 300 BC and called Euclid.

Basically, the Elements is a collection of the following geometric knowledge and observations:

  • Definitions
  • Postulates
  • Propositions
  • Mathematical proofs of the propositions.

Based on my experiences so far, an approach to geometry which I prefer is Euclidean geometry because it's much easier than analytical geometry.  Also, an approach that is easier to extend beyond two-dimensions is Euclidean geometry because it can be extended to three-dimension.

A situation in which one approach to geometry would prove to be more beneficial than the other is when dealing with flat surfaces. In Euclidean geometry, a correspondence can be established between geometric curves and algebraic equations.

In a survey of 2264 adults, 729 say they believe in ufos. construct a 95 confidence interval for the population proportion of ad
Andreyy89

90% confidence, it can be said that the population proportion of adults who believe in UFOs is between the endpoints of the giver confidence interval [ 0.3026, 0.3348 ].

Here, we have given:

Number of adults (n) = 2272

Number of adults who believe in UFO (x) = 724

Sample proportion (p) = x/n

p = 724 / 2272

p = 0.3187

now, let q = 1 - p

q = 1 - 0.3187

q = 0.6813

Confidence level → 90%

The 90% confidence interval for population proportion is

[ p - 1.645\frac{\sqrt{pq} }{\sqrt{n}} ,p + 1.645\frac{\sqrt{pq} }{\sqrt{n}} ]

where 1.645 is Zac value at 90% confidence level.

p - 1.645\frac{\sqrt{pq} }{\sqrt{n}}  = 0.3187 - 0.0161 = 0.3026

p + 1.645\frac{\sqrt{pq} }{\sqrt{n}} = 0.3187 + 0.0161 = 0.3348

90% confidence interval for the population proportion is

[ 0.3026, 0.3348 ]

Hence, With 90% confidence, it can be said that the population proportion of adults who believe in UFOs is between the endpoints of the giver confidence interval [ 0.3026, 0.3348 ]
