Find the perimeter of a rectangle with a length of

Mathematics

Answer:

P = 8\sqrt{2} + 10 + 2\sqrt{6}

Can only be simplified through calculator using decimal equivalents.

Step-by-step explanation:

The perimeter of a rectangle is the formula P=2l+2w. Here l=4\sqrt{2} and w=5+\sqrt{6}. So the perimeter is:

P= 2l+2w\\P = 2(4\sqrt{2} ) + 2(5+\sqrt{6} )\\P = 8\sqrt{2} + 10 + 2\sqrt{6}

What is the probability of selection for any man in a proportionate random sample, where a sample of 100 will be drawn from a po
kolbaska11 [484]
Working Principle: Stratified Random Sampling

nx = (Nx/N)*n

where:
    nx = sample size for stratum x
    Nx = population size for stratum x
    N = total population size
    n = total sample size

Given:

  Nx = 100
  N = 1000
  n = 0.5*(1000) = 500

Required: Probability of Man to be selected

Solution:

nx = (Nx/N)*n
nx = (100/1000)*500 = 50 men

ny = (Nx/N)*n
ny = (100/1000)*500 = 50 women

Probability of Man to be selected = nx/(nx + ny)*100 = 50/(50+50)*100 = 50%

Hey,
We can see here 2 of the angles are equal and the third one is a right angle right?
That means it is an isosceles triangle since they have 2 equel angles and a right anlgle.

Another feature of the isosceles triangle is that 2 sides are equal.
We are given one side is 5.5 right?
So the side BC has to be 5.5 or the side AB has to be 5.5
In isosceles triangles the side opposite to the 90 degree angle is the hypotenuse.This means it is the longest angle.
So it has to be AB which is equal to 5.5 since BC is the hypotenuse.

Hope this helps,Happy New Year
