B = 8

10b - 25 - 3b = 4b - 1

10b - 3b - 25 = 4b - 1 (Arrange like terms)

7b - 25 = 4b - 1 (Combine like terms)

7b - 4b = 25 - 1 (Arrange like terms again)

3b = 24 (Combine like terms again)

3b ÷ 3 = 24 ÷ 3 (Isolate the variable)

b = 8

What ypu need to do here is just isolate b:
So first you have to move like terms to the same side of the equation and combine them.

In order to do that , you can add 25 to both sides of the equation to move 25 to the other side:
10b -3b -25 +25 = 4b -1 +25
10b -3b = 4b + 24

Then subtract 4b in both sides of the equation:
10b -3b -4b =24

Now just combine like terms :
3b = 24

And divide both sides of the equatoon by 3
3/3b = 24/3
b = 8
Thats the awnser : b = 8
I hope you understood my brief explanation

In ΔKLM, the measure of ∠M=90°, the measure of ∠K=76°, and KL = 27 feet. Find the length of MK to the nearest tenth of a foot.
coldgirl [10]

Answer:

6.5 ft ft

Step-by-step explanation:

Angle L will be 180-90-76=14

Using the sine rule \frac {A}{sina}=\frac {B}{sinb}=\frac {C}{sinc}

Relating to the above set up

\frac {ML}{sin76}=\frac {27}{sin90}=\frac {KM}{sin14}

Taking only the first two parts then

\frac {MK}{sin14}=\frac {27}{sin90}\\MK=\frac {27sin14}{sin90}=6.53189118119109ft\approx 6.5 ft

Therefore, rounded off to the nearest tenth, distance will be 6.5 ft

Please help and explain. The question is in the picture below.
Murrr4er [49]

Answer:

D and yes

Step-by-step explanation:

\frac{x}{4} + 1 = -3  If we multiply both sides of the equation by 4 will will get the second equation

(4) \frac{x}{4}+ (4) 1 = (4) -3

x + 4 = -12  We solve this for x by subtracting 4 from both sides.

x = -16

Plug -7 into both equations and you will see that it is a solution

\frac{x}{4} + 1 = -3

\frac{-16}{4} + 1 = -3

-4 + 1 = -3

-3 = -3

x + 4 = =12

-16 + 4 = -12

-12 - -12
