There are many contemporary social issues that impact negatively on local and global communities. Social issues are those that exist in society, or in other words, those that impact people. There are many issues in the world that could fall under this category. For example, inequality and poverty is a problem that is present in many different societies. Another example is that of climate change, which affects the whole world and has an impact on the way people live and countries operate.
