X equals 16.
Because 106 minus 90 equals 16.
Or you can subtract 90 from both sides of the equation resolving in x equal to 16

Answer:

22x^2 -10xy + 12x

Step-by-step explanation:

To add and subtract polynomials, combine only like terms. When doing it vertically, stack polynomials and line up the same bases and exponents. Once this is done, simply add and subtract the coefficients.

  10x^2 + 12xy + 4x

+ 12x^2 -22xy + 8x

_________________

22x^2 -10xy + 12x

Here we added 10 + 12 = 22, 12 + -22 = -10 and 4 + 8 = 12.

The area of a quadrilateral is 64 in^2. The length of the quadrilateral is 32 in. How wide is the quadrilateral?
Mars2501 [29]

Answer: 2 inches

Explanation: The area formula is length times width (L*w=a). We know that the area is 64in^2 (a=64) and the length is 32in (L=32), so we put those values into the equation and get 32*w=64. We then get w by itself by dividing both sides by 32, and get w=2. so the width is 2 inches.

What is the length of LINE GH?<br> And please explain why thank you:
lesya692 [45]

co-ordinates of point G are (1,2)

co-ordinates of point H are (3,-3)

so, by distance formula :

\sqrt{( {x1 - x1})^{2} + ( {y1 - y2})^{2}  }  \\  =  \sqrt{( {1- 3})^{2} + ( {2 - ( - 3)})^{2}  }  \\   \sqrt{( { - 2})^{2} + ( {2  + 3})^{2}  }  \\  \sqrt{( { - 2})^{2} + ( {5})^{2}  }  \\   \sqrt{4 + 25}  \\  \sqrt{29}

so, it is root(29) or 5.38 units

use the formula V*t=x so if the velocity is 8 2/3 miles per hour and you need to travel 5 1/5 miles then (8 2/3)*t=5 1/5,
so t=(5 1/5)/(8 2/3)= .6 hours
