Explanation

The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries is mutual cooperation between different governments consisting of 14 oil-exporting countries that are major exporters.

They make sure to provide help to member countries at time of economic stress especially in the use of petroleum products.

The 14 countries are Iran, Venezuela, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Libya, Nigeria, Iraq, Algeria, UAE, Kuwait, Angola, Ecuador and Gabon.

Russia, China and United States also have oil exports but they are not members and they depend individually on self resources.
