This statement is not true.

The Fujita or Fujita-Pearson scale is used to measure the intensity of tornadoes. It takes into account the degree of destruction caused by the tornado in structures built by men. The different Fujita levels are shown in the table attached.

On the other hand, the intensity of hurricanes is measured using the Saffir-Simpson scale, which clasifies them from level 1 (the lowest) to level 5 (the highest) depending on the strenght of the winds.

Salsk061 [2.6K]

Answer:

Stranger wariness

Explanation:

Once one baby has developed a secure attachment with his/her caregiver. The phenomenon of stranger wariness starts to appear.

Stranger wariness refers to the anxiety that babies experience when they are approached by an unfamiliar person, specially when they are under novel situations. Since babies prefer familiar adults, they might react with concern, fussing or crying when approached by an stranger.

In this example, Tyra's niece gets a smile from the mail carrier and she hides her face in Tyra's shoulder and looks back at him with concern.

The carrier is an unfamiliar adult who approached to Tyra's niece (by smiling) under a situation that doesn't take place very often (the mail carrier stepping inside the house) so the baby reacts with concern. This is an example of Stranger wariness.

D) I, II and III

Strong wind typically carry enough force to destroy the surface of the farm's land, which will accelerate the rate of land degradation. Usually, farmers put shelters belts at the edge of the farm to block such winds and prevent the soil degradation.

ii. No till farming

In this method of farming, Farmers avoid the use of tools that will destroy the composition of the soil (Such as shovel or rake). They plant the crops by creating as little disruption as possible to the soil to prevent soil degradation
