<span>When you are approached by a law enforcement officer or another vessel flashing a siren or blue light, you must slow the speed of your boat or craft to the safest speeds possible. If directed so you must come to a complete stop and/or drop anchor. Once stopped, law enforcement may conduct a safety inspection of your vessel at any time and for any reason, including checking your equipment or certifications.
