The alternative to voting a straight ticket is to vote a split ticket.

Option: b

Explanation:

“Straight-ticket voting” is when voters give all their votes to representative of one political party which is the just reverse of “Split-ticket voting” where voters vote for multiple parties in an election. Therefore it is viewed as an alternative to straight-ticket voting. For straight-ticket voters use to have colored ballots with respective party's representative name while split-ticket had different colored ballots which was complicated. Hence voters use to pick-up one party and vote for everyone from the same. Later straight-ticket voting practice decreased among United States voters after 1970.

Bad White [126]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Although there are no options attached, we can say the following.

A child spent the first 5 years of his life isolated from the outside world and as a result, never learned to speak. This is an example of a Feral child.

As strange as it sounds, there have been cases in which children lived in total isolation for the four of five first years of their life. Believe it or not.

When the child has no contact with another human, it cannot speak. It has no sense of language.

Most of these children were abandoned or abused, so this creates a trauma that only professional psychologists can resolve.
