Answer:

option C

Explanation:

An argumentative assertion wherein the author or spokesperson ignores one of the large or small assumptions, does not express it explicitly or suggests this assumption is called an "enthymeme." Nevertheless the excluded premise in an enthymeme remains recognizable even though it is not articulated clearly.

Enthymeme is a rhetorical device such as syllogism, and is known as truncated syllogism or rhetoric. The goal is to influence the audience, and make inferences for them. It is easy to recognise such inferences as these comments occur after "because."

Why was the German government opposed to the terms of the Treaty of Versailles after WWI?
IgorLugansk [536]

The correct answer is Germany was forced to pay reparations.

The Treaty of Versailles (1919) was a peace treaty signed by the European powers that officially ended the First World War.

The terms imposed on Germany included the loss of part of its territory to a number of border nations, of all colonies over the oceans and on the African continent, a restriction on the size of the army and compensation for the damage caused during the war.

The Weimar Republic also agreed to recognize Austria's independence. The German foreign minister, Hermann Muller, signed the treaty on June 28, 1919. The treaty was ratified by the League of Nations on January 10, 1920. In Germany the treaty caused shock and humiliation in the population, which contributed to the the fall of the Weimar Republic in 1933 and the rise of Nazism.

In the treaty a commission was created to determine the precise size of the repairs that Germany had to pay. In 1921, this figure was officially set at $ 33 million. The charges to be borne with this payment are often cited as the main cause of the end of the Weimar Republic and the rise to power of Adolf Hitler, which inevitably led to the outbreak of World War II just 20 years after the signing of the Treaty of Versailles.

Which of the flowing activities on the part of a producer will not likely lead to a suspension, revocation or denial of license?
Sidana [21]

Answer:

Failing to pay a traffic ticket on time.

Explanation:

Article 17 clearly talks about the issue of suspension or denial happening on the failure to pay income tax or the refusal of persons to comply with court orders mandating them to pay such taxes. The commissioner’s stance on revocation or denial of license when someone provides incorrect, misleading or incomplete information was stated on the second article. Forging another’s name on an application would warrant possible suspension or denial of license by the commissioner was stated on article 10.

There was no visible mention on the possibility of these penalties applying when one refuses to pay traffic ticket on time.
