Answer: Option (D) is the correct answer.

Explanation:

It is known that when we increase the temperature for a certain chemical reaction then there is increase in movement of particles as they tend to gain kinetic energy.

So, there will also be increase in number of collisions between the particles. Thus, there will be increase in rate of a reaction.

But it is not necessary that every time on increasing the temperature the rate of reaction will also increase.

For example, in an exothermic reaction rate of reaction increase with decrease in temperature.

Hence, only at a specific point rate of reaction is going to increase and not at all the temperature values it is going to increase as the reactants may degrade at high temperature.

Therefore, we can conclude that reaction rate is highest at a specific temperature.

Answer;

D) Reaction rate is highest at a specific temperature.

Explanation;

Reaction rates of a given chemical reaction increase as the temperature increases. The rate of reaction proceeds increasingly up to a certain specific temperature where the reaction is at optimal level.

The explanation for the increased rate of reaction would be; increasing temperature increases the kinetic energies of molecules. The rapid movement of molecules results to more frequent collision of these molecules and with higher energy, leading to increased rates of reaction.

Answer:

In many species, females choose the male they will mate with. For their part, males try to be chosen as mates. They show females that they would be a better mate than the other males. To be chosen as a mate, males may perform courtship behaviors. These are special behaviors that help attract a mate. Male courtship behaviors get the attention of females and show off a male’s traits. These behaviors are often observed as direct competition between males. Different species have different courtship behaviors.

Svetradugi [14.3K]

According to the research, a tropism is a plant's response to external stimuli like light, gravity, and touch.

What is a tropism?

It is the response that plants or certain organs of them make to a stimulus that comes from the outside.

There are different classes of tropisms according to the nature of the stimulus, gravitropism, phototropism, heliotropism among others.

Therefore, we can conclude that according to the research, a tropism is a plant's response to external stimuli like light, gravity, and touch.
