The correct answer is Inflammation occurs near the affected cells.

The inflammation response is important in order to eliminate microbes and injured tissue and to set into motion the process of repair. Tissue repair than includes regeneration by the proliferation of uninjured cells and maturation of tissue stem cells. The next step is the deposition of connective tissue in order to form a scar.

How is phosphorus different from the other nutrient cycles?
Marina CMI [18]
Phosphorus is an important element for all forms of life. The phosphorus cycle differs from the other major biogeochemical cycles in that it does not include a gas phase; although small amounts of phosphoric acid (H3PO4) may make their way into the atmosphere, contributing—in some cases—to acid rain. The water, carbon, nitrogen and sulfur cycles all include at least one phase in which the element is in its gaseous state. Very little phosphorus circulates in the atmosphere because at Earth’s normal temperatures and pressures, phosphorus and its various compounds are not gases. The largest reservoir of phosphorus is in sedimentary rock.
There’s an explanation. I hope this helps!

Why do you think so many people seem to not care about the environmental issues we are facing?
noname [10]

Answer:

People are not aware of their causes and impacts.

Explanation:

First, people just seem to think that a little bit of harm won't impact the world at all, but that little bit for everyone adds up and the magnitude is a lot worse than people would imagine. Next, even if they/we do know the scale, they don't know how to help or are not interested enough to try and fix the problem. We all think that we won't be able to help enough to fix the issue.

How does climate change threaten biodiversity
lukranit [14]

Answer:

Climate change can melt ice in cold regions, and because ice is freshwater it can change the salinity of the oceans. Some marine animals may not cope with these conditions and may die as a result. This threatens biodiversity because there would be less species of marine life in our oceans.
