OK, so depending on the fraction, it may vary but for the example lets say it is 1/2. 1/2 is equivalent to half or .5 which is half of 1 in decimal form. the simple way to do it is put it in a calculator. so if its 12/21 then put twelve divided by 21 into the calculator.
