<span>The answer is "John does his report on Spain because that is where his family is from. He has enjoyed talking to his grandfather about what it is like to live in Spain." John is the only student who is committed towards learning about the subject for purposed of knowledge. The other students are learning about the subject only for reasons of getting good grades, or looking good in front of others, not because they truly want knowledge in the subject.</span>
