Answer:

He can buy 3 bracelets.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Mr. Gonzales has only 42.50 to spend he wants to buy 29 t shirts including tax and some bracelets that cost 4.50 each including tax.

Now, to find the number of bracelets he can buy.

Let the number of bracelets he can buy be x.

Price of each bracelets = 4.50.

Total amount to spend = 42.50.

Number of t-shirts = 29.

Now, to get the number of bracelets we put an equation:

29+4.50\times x=42.50\\\\29+4.50x=42.50

Subtracting both sides by 29 we get:

4.50x=42.50-29\\\\4.50x=13.5

Dividing both sides by 4.50 we get:

x=3.

The number of bracelets = 3.

Therefore, he can buy 3 bracelets.

Which of these equations could represent the blue line?
belka [17]

Hello from MrBillDoesMath!

The first choice (y = 2x) is NOT the blue line because it has twice of the slope of the line y=x. That is, for a given positive x value the graph of y= 2x appears above the black line which is not the case for the blue line shown.

The second choice (y =.001x) is a possibility but the multiplier .001 is so small I think the graph of that line would be "close" to the x-axis. I don't think it's the blue line.

y = -x. Now here we can say NO! That line goes through the origin all right but has a slope of -1 so is heading "downward" from left to right. That is not the blue line either.

Well, then, it seems that the last equation ( y = 1/2x) is the only remaining reasonable answer.

DIA [1.3K]
1. D. because the angels of KRC and CRH added together is 180 degrees. Which equals a straight line.

2. Answer is A . BHR is equal to NHD, so it is 8x. But we need to find x first.
The right angle in the picture is 8x + (9x +5)
90 =8x + 9x +5
90 = 17x + 5
85 = 17 x
5 = x.
X is 5 so 8x is 40.

3. B. The opposite angles are equal to each other. and the sum of two angles side by side equal 180.
6x - 82 = 3x +23
group like terms
6x - 3x = 23 + 82
3x = 105
x = 35.
Answer is B
4.B. a complement angle added together will get you 90.
90 - 41 = 49
Answer is B
