Answer:

The basic structural and functional component of all the living beings is cell. A cell has various types of cell organelles inside it which helps the cell to sustain life.

The differentiation of cells at the time of embryonic development results in formation of a particular tissue and then organ due to collection of similar types of cells.

This is known a the level of organization in body in which the cells form tissue and collectively tissues form organ.

Saltwater fish constantly drink water but still excrete concentrated urine to compensate for the water loss. They also have gill
SOVA2 [1]
They do not influence the salinity level in their environment, they maintain the salinity in their body. If they don't, osmosis will cause their cells to shrink due to the fact that the salinity in the cell is lower than outside the cell. This will make water leave the cells. So they need to get rid of excess salt all the time. Freshwater fish need to retain the salt in their bodies, otherwise the opposite will happen. Salinity level in the cell is higher than outside the cell and this causes influx of water which will make the cell build up turgor pressure. Ultimately they will explode. So fishes in both environments adapted to deal with osmosis.

B.) Cohesion

Explanation:

The best term that fits the description of the term surface tension of water is cohesion.

Cohesion is the intermolecular forces that holds together the particles of liquids and solids.

  • Surface tension is a phenomenon in liquids that causes them to come together more and shrink on the surface.
  • Surface tension is made possible by cohesive forces between water- water molecules.
  • Adhesion is between different molecules like water and glass.
  • In capillary action, a liquid is able to rise up in a column
