Zeus was seen often as a god that could be easily angered but also merciful, wise, and even fair. Some moments also to be prudent.
The Greek society primarily saw Zeus as their leader even though he only was the King of the Gods and Goddesses. He controlled basically everything within Greece, the Greek society saw him as the supreme being above all else.
