Find the domain and range of the function graphed below, in interval notation. Domain and range
DochEvi [55]

Answer:

(-5, 4]

Step-by-step explanation:

Range is the set of possible outputs for a function within the given domain. It is usually represented in terms of minimum and max values

In the graph, the minimum value is -5 (not including this value) and this occurs at x = 3;  the max value is 4 at x = 0

So range is -5 < x ≤ 4

which in interval notation is

(-5, 4]

why is it not usually realistic to measure the distance between two points on a map as a straight line? explain.
aksik [14]
The map is a flat schematic of some actual distance, on a map, the distance form point A to point B may well be 10 units say, however, in actuality, if you go and walk from point A to point B, you'd notice that, first off is not a straight line most of the time, and also it may have a slanted or sloped section, and the map is not including that slope or hill, whilst you do have to walk it.

so, adding all the twists and curves along the way and any bumps or slopes, is really not exactly 10 units from A to B.

nikitadnepr [17]

Answer:

L×W=A 6 x 2 =12

Step-by-step explanation:

length ×weight =area example:you need to measure a full sheet pan and let's say if it is 8 full sheet pan you weighs 23 so you want to multiply 8×23=184 that is your area okay 2×3=6 and 2×1=2 so to figure out the area multiply 6×2=12 so the answer is matrix B just remember length times weight equal areas
