What is the biggest barrier to the use of renewable energy in the United States?

Geography

Answer: I think Limited transmission capacity to deliver the energy to the consumer is the correct answer.

Explanation: Renewable resources are not necessarily limited as the sun always shines and the wind always blows. Citizens are pushing for renewable energy sources that will not destroy our planet. Reliability and consistency could be an option but again, the wind and sun are always present. This leaves you with limited transmission capacity to deliver the energy to the consumer which seems like the most probable barrier due to the fact that the entire energy sector would have to be rethought and machinery would have to be bought. Renewable energy technology is also very new and expensive which naturally makes it limited.

Hope this helps!  :)

Climate is highly variable but weather is not. Weather varies over long periods - decades or more. True False
Stella [2.4K]

Answer:

This statement is false.

Explanation:

The difference between climate and weather is dictated by the period of time over which atmospheric conditions are measured. When conditions in the atmosphere are measured over a short period of time, it is called weather. When behaviour of conditions is measured over a longer period of time, over years, decades and even centuries, it is called climate. Because it is measured over shorter periods, weather tends to be more variable than climate where climate shows changes over long periods of time.
