Sorry this is such a terrible drawing, but it starts 2 units under the x axis, and rises 2 units and runs 7 units. The domain and range are all real numbers because this is linear.

WORTH 25 POINTS PLEASE HELP!!!
GalinKa [24]
Just subtract the smaller volume from the larger:

10 × 10 ×15 - 7 × 9 × 12

First you would multiply 10 × 10 × 15 = 1500 and then multiply 7 × 9 × 12 = 756.

After you would subtract 1500 - 756 which would give you 744

I hope that helped!

What is value of x and y if<br> Y=-2x+8 and Y=3x-7
iren [92.7K]

Answer:

X=5 y=-2

Step-by-step explanation:

Set them equal to each other so...

-2x+8=3x-7

Simplify by balancing out the equation so

-5x=-1

So x=5

Now plug it into either y equation

-2(5)+8

-10+8

Y=-2

Hope this helps!

If you know that 7 - square root 5 is it root of a polynomial function
Kitty [74]

Answer:

As you must know, If one root of the polynomial 7-√5, the other will be 7+√5 i.e irrational root occur in pairs.

A polynomial function cannot have single unreal i.e irrational root. It always occur in pairs.

So , consider a polynomial function of any degree, if it has a root 7-√5, then it must have another root as 7+√5.

A polynomial can't have 7-√5 as a single root.

Determine whether the two figures are similar. If so, give the similarity ratio of the smaller figure to the larger figure. The
zloy xaker [14]
We have that

smaller figure
ha=8.7
ra=1.6

larger figure
hb=10.44
rb=1.92

ha/hb=8.7/10.44----> 0.83
ra/rb=1.6/1.92-------> 0.83
ratio smaller figure to the larger figure
1.6/1.92-------> divided by 1.6 both members[1.6/1.6]/[1.92/1.6]-------> 1/1.2

the ratio ha/hb is equal to the ratio ra/rb
so
the smaller figure and the larger figure are similar
and
the ratio smaller figure to the larger figure is equal to---->  1/1.2

the answer is
the option yes 1/1.2
