So you would first multiply 400 by 2 which equals 800, then add 30 which is 830.
Then you would subtract 1000-830=170.
The total force of the 6 other players would be 170N.

The amount of energy lost at the transition between each trophic level of the pyramid of energy is about _______. a. 10% b. 50%
Sophie [7]

The amount of energy lost at the transition between each trophic level of the pyramid of energy is about 90%.

There are a total of 4 trophic levels.

The producers which bare plants represent the first trophic level. Herbivores represent the second trophic level. Carnivores represent the third trophic level. Top carnivores represent the fourth trophic level.

The 10 % rule is followed by the energy flow in a food chain. It means that moving from one trophic level to another, only 10% of energy is transferred and the rest is lost in the atmosphere.

So the 90% percent energy is lost at the transition between each trophic level of the pyramid of energy.

A large rock is weathered into tiny pieces which add up the weight of the original rock this demonstrates the conversion of ____
stich3 [128]

When a large rock is weathered into tiny pieces which add up the weight of the original rock, this demonstrates the law of conservation of matter.

According to this law the mass of an object doesn't change with time and also it does not depends on how the particles are arranged themselves.

Hence, option (C) is correct.

How can astrophysicists tell whether a star is receding from or approaching earth?
MrMuchimi

Answer:

Doppler shift of the starlight

Explanation:

To predict the movement of a star, we compare the spectra of elements found in star (H, He Na etc.), first spectra which are obtained from star and second spectra from laboratory. If spectral lines of the spectra obtained from star, are shifting towards red end (called red shift) then star is going away from earth and if shifting is towards blue (called blue shift), then star is approaching the earth. This is Doppler's shift.
