The transformation, f(x + 1), at x = 0, gives;

f(0 + 1) = -log₁₀(0 + 1) = -log₁₀(1) = 0

Therefore;

The function f(x + 1) = -log₁₀(x + 1) is defined at x = 0, and therefore, has a y-intercept
