Answer:

The coordinates of point B are (3 , 7)

Step-by-step explanation:

* Lets explain how to solve the problem

- If point (x , y) divides a line segments whose endpoints are (x_{1},y_{1})

  and (x_{2},y_{2}) at ratio (m_{1}:m_{2}) from the first point (x_{1},y_{1}), then

  x=\frac{x_{1}m_{2}+x_{2}m_{1}}{m_{1}+m_{2}} and

  y=\frac{y_{1}m_{2}+y_{2}m_{1}}{m_{1}+m_{2}}

∵ Point A = (-5 , 3)

∵ The point of dinision (x , y) = (1 , 6)

∵ Point B =  (x_{2},y_{2})

- Point (1, 6) is 3/4 of the way from A to B, that means the distances

  from A to (1 , 6) is 3 parts and from (1 , 6) to B is (4 - 3) = 1 part

∴ (m_{1}:m_{2}) = 3 : 1

∵ 1=\frac{(-5)(1)+x_{2}(3)}{3+1}

∴ 1=\frac{-5+3x_{2}}{4}

- Multiply each side by 4

∴ 4=-5+3x_{2}

- Add 5 to both sides

∴ 9=3x_{2}

- Divide both sides by 3

∴ x_{2}=3

∴ The x-coordinate ob point B is 3

∵ 6=\frac{(3)(1)+y_{2}(3)}{3+1}

∴ 6=\frac{3+3y_{2}}{4}

- Multiply each side by 4

∴ 24=3+3y_{2}

- Subtract 3 to both sides

∴ 21=3y_{2}

- Divide both sides by 3

∴ y_{2}=7

∴ The y-coordinate ob point B is 7

*<em> The coordinates of point B are (3 , 7)</em>

Solve each system of inequalities by graphing. <br><br> x-2y&lt;3<br> 2x+y&gt;8
salantis [7]
Not easy to graph but

multily first equaiton by -2 remember to flip sign
-2x+4y>-6
add to other equaiton

2x-2x+y+4y>-6+8
5y>2
divide by 5
y>2/5

subtitute
2x+2/5>8
subtract 2/5 from both sdies
2x>7 3/5
divid eby 2
x>38/10=19/5=3 4/5

x>3 4/5
y>2/5
just shade the area in that zone, not including point (0,0)

Please help with two and four
bagirrra123 [75]
Question 1)
575 = 100%
57.5= 10%
57.5 × 2= 115 (20%)

question 2)
575=100%
57.5=10%
115=20%
5.75=1%.

5.75 × 4=22.8 (4%)

22.8 (4%) + 115 (20%) =137.8(24%) which would be rounded up to 138

hope this helps♡♡~~Chyna

Why all integers are not whole numbers?
gayaneshka [121]

Answer:

Integers  -4, -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4… all the whole numbers and their opposites (the positive whole numbers, the negative whole numbers, and zero). Fractions and decimals are not integers. For example, -5 is an integer but not a whole number or a natural number.
