Hypersecretion of prolactin hormone from the anterior pituitary gland causes the condition of galactorrhea.

Further Explanation:

Prolactin is also called as luteotropin. The main function of prolactin is to secrete milk in females. This hormone is secreted by the pituitary gland during estrogen treatment, ovulation and mating. The short stalk is connected from pituitary gland to the hypothalamus.

The pituitary gland consist two main parts:

  • Posterior lobe
  • Anterior lobe

The secretion from the pituitary gland is controlled by neuron and hormones. The hypothalamus gland release releasing and inhibitory hormone which control the secretion from anterior lobe. The releasing hormone stimulates the production of the hormone from anterior lobe. On the other hand, the inhibitory hormone inhibits the production of hormone. The hypersecretion of the prolactin hormone causes galactorrhea disease. In this disease, even if a woman is not pregnant there will be an unusual discharge from nipple due to hypersecretion of prolactin hormone.

Hypersecretion of the population from the anterior pituitary gland causes the condition of galactorrhea.

Prolactin is another name is called luteotropin and its main function is to enable mammals mostly female to produce milk. The pituitary gland secretes it in response to mating, estrogen treatment, ovulation, nursing and eating.

The pituitary gland is attached to the hypothalamus by a short stalk. The pituitary gland has two major parts.

(i)                  An anterior lobe

(ii)                Posterior lobe.

The pituitary gland is controlled by hormones and neurons that comes in the hypothalamus where it acts as a link between brain and endocrine system, and hypothalamus is the endocrine gland itself. Hypothalamus has neurons which regulate secretion of anterior lobe hormones by secreting inhibit and releasing  hormones. Every hormone produced by anterior lobe has a releasing hormone.

Prolactin and growth hormones have inhibiting hormone. Releasing hormone helps in stimulating production and it releases hormones from the anterior lobe.

Aleksandr-060686 [28]

According to the characteristics of this organism, it is classified into the Protist kingdom, which brings together unicellular or simple multicellular organisms that do not form tissues, both autotrophic and heterotrophic.

<h3>What is the kingdom protista?</h3>

It includes eukaryote-type organisms that, due to their characteristics, cannot be included in the rest of the kingdoms of this class.

Although most protists are unicellular, there are also multicellular protists and they can have autotrophic or heterotrophic metabolisms.

Therefore, we can conclude that the protist kingdom groups living beings that have cells belonging to the eukaryote group.

The nervous system consists of two major parts: the central nervous system and the peripheral nervous system.

Explanation:

In vertebrates it consists of two main parts, the central nervous system (CNS) and the peripheral nervous system (PNS). The CNS consists of the brain and spinal cord. The PNS consists mainly of nerves, which are enclosed bundles of the long fibers or axons, that connect the CNS to every other part of the body.
