x = -1, -9.

x = 5, 9.

x^2 + 10x =  -9

x^2 + 10x + 9 = 0

(x + 1)(x + 9) = 0

x = -1, -9.

x^2 - 14x + 40 = -5

x^2 - 14x + 45 = 0

(x - 5)(x - 9) = 0

So burger king offers 10 chicken nuggets for $1.49

   1 chicken nugget = price for 10 chicken nugget / 10 chicken nugget

                         = $1.49 / 10 = $0.15 per nugget (approximated)
