<span>In the first three paragraphs of the Emancipation Proclamation President Lincoln wanted all slaves freed on January 1st, and that every person who recognize each slave as free. He stated that if any state disagreed and did not free their slaves they would be against the USA. He freed the slaves in every state and asked the slaves not to resort to violence unless they had.a</span>
