lyudmila [28]
Because "they hope to stimulate more business for downtown restaurants, bars, and hotels".

A central business district (CBD) is the business and commercial focal point of a city. In bigger urban communities, it is frequently synonymous with the city's "monetary area". Topographically, it regularly agrees with the "downtown area" or "downtown", yet the two ideas are partitioned: numerous urban areas have a focal business locale found far from its business or social downtown area or downtown.

Darren suffers from fragile bone X (FBX) disorder. He inherited the FBX allele from his father and the normal allele for bone de
Trava [24]

Answer:

b. FBX is a dominant allele.

Explanation:

If Darren's father has the gene for FBX and Darren's mother does not have this gene, but Darem has the disease, it means that the disease is encoded by a dominant allele.

We can draw that conclusion, because as we have seen, the alleles that Darren received from his mother and father responsible for bone development are different, so one is dominant and the other is recessive. Recessive genes are only expressed and homozygous, that is, Darren would only express the gene for bone development if both his father and mother donated recessive alleles.

On the other hand, dominant genes are expressed, even in the presence of a recessive gene. Therefore, we can say that the gene that Darren received from his father is dominant and was expressed even in the presence of the recessive gene, which Darren received from his mother.

Ethical dilemmas are situations in which none of the available alternatives seems ethically acceptable.
blsea [12.9K]
That should be true. An Ethical Dilemma has multiple outcomings depending on the persons choice on how to follow through with the situation, yet every outcome seems to bring certain downsides with it. for example: a train is rushing towards a group of people. Do you pull a lever to change the trains direction and kill only one person ? Neither of the outcomes are ethically acceptable / satisfying.
