Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Expected in answer is 336.

Explanation: As we know that Pizza-By-The-Slice sells & slice in 10 and in ! hour we have 60 minutes so we simply multiply 7 by 6 which is equal to 42 so they sell 42 slice in 1 hour and we want to know the how much they sell in 8 hours so we simply multiply 42 by 8 and we get the expected slice sell in * hours which will 336.

I think you’re answer is 42 slices of pizza.

the way i worked it out is by finding out how many minutes are in an hour (60 mins). after that i divided it by 10(mins), which would have gotten me 6. therefore i multiplied 7 x 6 which gave me 42.

One number is 3/8 of another number. The difference of the two numbers is 4.2. What is the lesser number
boyakko [2]

Answer:

2.52.

Step-by-step explanation:

If one number is x then the other = 3x/8.

Also x - 3x / 8 = 4.2

x - 0.375 x = 4.2

0.625x = 4.2

x = 4.2 / 0.625

x = 6.72.

So the lesser number is 6.72 * 0.375 = 2.52.
