bearing in mind that the sum of all interior angles in a polygon is

<h3>180( n - 2 ),  n = number of sides in the polygon.</h3>

well, this one is a quadrilateral, it has 4 sides, so n = 4, so the total amount for all interior angles will be 180( 4-2) = 360°, that means

\bf 57+97+131+(15+4x) = 360\implies 300+4x=360 \\\\\\ 4x = 60\implies x = \cfrac{60}{4}\implies x = 15

How do I simplify by combining these numbers -3x - 5y + 2x + 10y
Wewaii [24]
They are basically like groups. Take -3x+2x , Just do -3 +2 = -1 and then just add the x. So -1x. Next you have -5y+10y . Just do -5 + 10 = 5 and remember to add the x on so your final answer should be -1x + 5y

5. I have 25 coins consisting of 5-cent and 50-cent pieces. If the total value is $7.10, how many 5-cent coins do I
VARVARA [1.3K]

Answer:

x = # of 5 cent coins

y = # of 50 cent coins

x+y=25

.05x+.5y=7.1

y=25-x

(.05x+.5(25-x)=7.1)100

5x+50(25-x)=710

5x+1250-50x=710

-45x=-540

x=12

You have 12, 5 cent coins and 13, 50 cent coins.
